A phosphor plate scanner — the digital route that stays closest to film. The plate is thin and flexible and bends inside the mouth, so it is comfortable where a rigid sensor presses, and it fits mouths where a sensor simply will not seat. After exposure the plate goes into the scanner and the image reaches the computer in seconds. Plates come in several sizes and are reused many times. Supplied, connected and serviced by JK Dent.
