Discs come in 98 mm and 95 mm diameters and in Sirona and AG formats, in thicknesses of 10–40 mm, in shades following the VITA16 key and in pink and clear. The manufacturer states a flexural strength of 110–140 MPa and a modulus of elasticity of 2500 MPa. Monolayer, multilayer, Impak and flexible versions are available. Wax DiscsWax discs for milling in CAD/CAM systems: for try-ins, for checking fit, and for lost-wax casting work. The wax burns out with no meaningful residue, so the casting takes the shape of the pattern. They are also useful for testing a milling path before running an expensive material.
